As CEO of JP Communications Inc. (JPC INC), Jason A. Prescott heads a B2B global trade network of wholesale vertical search engines, advertising platforms, and product sourcing directories serving wholesalers, manufacturers, importers, discounters, auctioneers, dropshippers and retail buyers.
JPC INC’s flagship site TopTenWholesale.com heads the global trade network, which includes Manufacturer.com, WholesaleU.com, OffPriceNetwork.com and Wholezilla.com. TopTenWholesale is a wholesale product search engine serving suppliers of clothing apparel, fashion accessories, footwear, jewelry and general merchandise. Its publication, Top Ten Wholesale Trends, provides users with an industry-expert filtered and refined matching system where buyers, sellers and advertisers can search keyword popularity by date. When TopTenWholesale merged with Manufacturer.com in 2009, the company acquired offices in Hangzhou, China under a new subsidiary, Flat World Media LTD.
Jason is well-known in the wholesale search marketing industry and has expert knowledge in search models and technology. He authored search marketing courses for the Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization and served on SEMPO’s Education Committee. Jason has been a speaker at many search conferences and trade meetings including: Search Engine Strategies, SIPPA, SANDIOS, ASD Trade Show and San Diego Software Council. He is a member of the San Diego Venture Capital Group and the High Tech Marketing Association. Jason writes expert articles on B2B marketing and vertical search engines which have been published in B2B Online, OMMA, IMediaConnection, CEO Magazine and Entrepreneur Online. Jason has been cited in Forbes Online, Business Week and Inc Magazine.
Jason and TopTenWholesale have received many awards. TopTenWholesale was named #1 in Fast Growth Awards in 2008 by bizSanDiego. TopTenWholesale ranked in the Top 20 for Technology Awards sponsored by the San Diego Business Journal in 2008. Jason was named in the Top 40 Entrepreneurs Under 40 roster in 2007 by San Diego’s Metropolitan Magazine. He was also recognized for Outstanding Emerging Business of the Year by the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, and was recognized as People To Watch in CA by the San Diego Union-Tribune. JPC INC sponsored fundraising and made technology donations to the San Elijo School in California. Jason is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University where he majored in Law Administration and Marketing.

JPC Inc.’s Chief Technical Officer Les Hughes originally joined JPC in 2006 as lead programmer developing software applications. He recently rejoined the company as CTO responsible for JPC’s technical vision and leading technology development. Les has developed custom software applications for the Internet for over ten years. His areas of expertise include search engines, web directories, legal websites, professional communities, news websites and e-commerce sites.
In 2005, Les owned and operated News-spider.com, a site that compiles news articles from thousands of sources, providing users with the most comprehensive news coverage on the net. The news-spider database, which was continuously updated, is organized into hundreds of channels and thousands of topics, allowing users to quickly find news of interest.
Les also owned and developed HS Plugins, which he operated from 2001 to present. This site developed custom software applications for web sites in addition to plugins and add-ons for many third-party platforms. Les specialized in database-driven applications using Perl and MySQL, making it easy to generate and manage dynamic content.
From 1998 to 2001, Les was a freelance programmer developing retail and point of sale applications for Retail Touch, ADP and various companies in the restaurant industry.
Before the Internet, Les was in the financial field. He was controller for MMS Trucking from 1993 to 1998. Before that, he was a CPA senior accountant for Deloitte & Touche from 1989 to 1993, where he performed audits, reviews and compilations of company financial statements for various clients and also provided tax services.
Les graduated magna cum laude from Wright State University with a BS in Accounting and Finance and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. He received an MBA in Logistics Management from The Ohio State University in 1994. Les also attended Bowling Green State University from 1980 to 1982 with studies in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
Les likes music from the ‘70s and ‘80s and enjoys golf, fishing and poker. He also enjoys cooking, is a gourmand and likes classic movies.

As account manager for JP Communications, Inc. since January 2006, Justin Prescott managed the marketing campaigns for wholesalers and manufacturers across a proprietary network of wholesale search engines and product sourcing directories customized to connect wholesalers and manufacturers of general merchandise with retailers, importers, dropshippers, discounters, auctioneers, and any resellers of new and closeout goods.
Anchored by TopTenWholesale.com, the network includes WholesaleU.com, OffPriceNetwork.com, Wholezilla.com and Manufacturer.com.
Justin played a key role in the March 2009 merger with Manufacturer.com, opening offices in Hangzhou, China under JP Communication’s new subsidiary Flat World Media, LTD. Responsibilities include sales, marketing, account management, product development, and operations. Justin sits on the product planning committee of JP Communications, Inc. and helps lead the launch of new products throughout the JPC network.
Justin is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Finance and a concentration in Investments and Analysis. He volunteers time with the Surfrider Foundation, which is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. Hobbies and interests include surfing, snowboarding, beach volleyball, rock climbing, and scuba diving.
Jonathan Prescott

Jonathan Prescott, Senior Account Executive of JP Communications, Inc., manages the accounts of hundreds of wholesalers, working hand-in-hand to help build successful advertising campaigns for the clients of TopTenWholesale and Manufacturer.com.
As a member of JP Communication’s product planning committee, he works directly with CEOs and upper-level management in the development of new products for the JP Communications network of wholesalers, retailers, importers, discounters and auctioneers.
Jonathan is responsible for sales and marketing, managing accounts, participation in product development, staying current with technology, and helping to build an international B2B e-commerce company.
Starting at JP Communications in 2005, Jonathan has served as an account representative and was promoted to account executive in 2006. He is currently senior account executive and worked directly with top level management in the merger with Manufacturer.com in 2009.
Jonathan is a member of the Off Price Apparel Retail Group and eMarketing Association Network. A graduate of Western Connecticut State University in 2004, Prescott majored in Psychology with a minor in Law.

Sandy Liu is the general manager of Manufacturer.com, JP Communications Hangzhou, China office. Liu started creating websites in 1997 and has worked in the search industry over the past 12 years. She has seen the massive changes in search since then and is passionate about future technical innovations that will enable this industry to serve B2B buyers and suppliers more effectively.
Liu started working in e-commerce in 1997 at www.etransfar.com, a well-known logistics and chemical enterprise firm in Zhejiang Province. With two years of e-commerce experience under her belt in 1999, she took a position at Alibaba, a small fledgling company with big dreams of dominating Internet-based commerce.
Working from Mr. Isaac Mao’s house as the 47th employee, Sandy took part in leading the charge to develop Alibaba.com, promoting its growth into China’s most revered and respected commercial trade site that currently employs over 300,000. Over her five year tenure, Liu spearheaded the design and implementation of Alibaba’s core features such as trade leads, product showroom, and company profile.
In 2004, Liu left the industry giant to start her own company, East West Online Network Technical Co., Ltd. in Hangzhou, known as China’s e-commerce capital. Liu’s experience and accomplishments in B2B e-commerce, product management and online marketing led her to become president of Manufacturer.com when East West merged with Manufacturer.com in 2007. Subsequently in 2009, Manufacturer.com merged with JP Communications and Liu became general manager of Manufacturer.com and JP Communications. Liu graduated from Zhejiang JiaXin College in 1998 with a major in Information Management and Computer Application.
Dominique Mia Castro

Dominique Mia Castro joined JP Communications INC in 2008 as Client Services Manager, launching Client Services as a new division of the company. After successfully establishing the department, her role expanded into email marketing. Utilizing her marketing expertise, Dominique quickly took over as Marketing Manager, managing all marketing channels for JPC, including print and website content. Dominique also plays a role in business development, managing the relationships with JPC’s strategic media and trade show partners.
In 2010, Dominique had the opportunity to live and work in Asia at JPC’s Hangzhou, China headquarters. While in China, Dominique enriched her product sourcing skills and established many relationships with Chinese manufacturers and factory representatives. Having become well-versed in global trade and sourcing, Dominique’s marketing and client services expertise has become essential to JPC’s mission of promoting International trade between wholesale buyers and suppliers.
Dominique continues to grow within the organization. With an eye for user interface and the ability to identify ways to improve the User Experience, Dominique plays a key role in product development and assists with project management. Her role in re-launching TopTenWholesale.com in 2011 was essential to the company, and she looks forward to helping JPC become the world’s leading B2B Trade Platforms of the 21st Century.
Dominique attended San Diego State University and has a background in financial sales and interactive media sales. She has received corporate certifications in The Essentials of Solution Selling, Combating Sales Call Reluctance, Dynamics of Sales Process and has been received awards for High Sales Conversion. Dominique is Google Adwords Certified.
Fun Fact: Dominique conquered her fear of water and the Pacific Ocean by becoming Scuba Certified but prefers spending time on dry land enjoying good food and music with good company.
